We take great pride in our kitchen at the hotel Unterellmau. But we aren’t just talking about our delicious food. We see your diet as much more. That attitude is a very personal one of Gerhard. As a passionate sportsman he realizes the importance of a balanced and healthy diet.
All this alredy starts at the hotel Unterellmau at the very beginning – with the agriculture. Wether it is the milk, the self-made yogurt, butter, or the meat, most of it Gerhard and his team produce themselves. Anf what they can’t produce themselves is still delivered by regional producers. You will find nothing but fresh products in our kitchen. No precooked produce or chemical flavor enhancers. Those are unecessary anyways because you can already taste the difference.
Start the day early in the morning with our breakfast buffet for athletes. Milk, yogurt and homemade bacon will find the way on your plate. Eggs from happy chicken in the regionas well. We’ll also prepare fresh scrambled eggs or an omlette for you, should you desire that.
And in the evening the real treats start. Together with his mother Gerhard forms the core of the kitchen staff. 4-course menus await the guest. A special treat is the beef from our own cows.
So don’t shy away from brining a healthy appetite and all your friends with you to your holidays – in the hotel Unterellmau your hunger will be sated. Even if you have food allergies that is no reason to not enjoy our food. We make an effort to offer a big selection of food for all types of people. 😉
